Solution:
Determining which patch to download
If you want to install the patch using the Symantec Decoy Server administration console, you must install Patch 1 before installing Patch 2. To determine whether Patch 1 is installed, read How to determine the patch level of a ManHunt, Decoy Server or ManTrap node. If Patch 1 is not installed and you want to install it, read How to download Patch 1 for Symantec Decoy Server 3.1.

To determine which Patch 2 file to download, open the Symantec Decoy Server administration console and look at the host information. To access the host information, open the console, connect to the host, and click Host > Get Host Info...

The host information shows which platform version Symantec Decoy Server is running on, which enables you to choose the correct Patch 2 file.
