How to determine what version and build of GoBack you are using

Choose your situation

I start GoBack from its own Norton GoBack icon

: If you start GoBack from its own "Norton GoBack" icon, you have Norton GoBack 4.0 or 3.0. If you have Norton GoBack 4.0, the program shows that version in the lower-right corner of the main window.; On the Symantec support Web site, Norton GoBack 3.0 is referred to as:
Product: Norton GoBack
Version: 3.0; On the Symantec support Web site, Norton GoBack 4.0 is referred to as:
Product: Norton GoBack
Version: 4.0

I start GoBack from within Norton SystemWorks

If you start GoBack from within the Norton SystemWorks interface, you have one of the following (note the version of Norton SystemWorks that each is included with):

GoBack 3.0 Personal Edition (Included with Norton SystemWorks 2002)
GoBack 3.1 Personal Edition (Included with Norton SystemWorks 2003)
Norton GoBack 3.5 Personal Edition (Included with Norton SystemWorks 2004)
Norton GoBack 4.0 (Included with Norton SystemWorks 2006/2005)

On the Symantec support Web site, GoBack 3.0 Personal Edition and GoBack 3.1 Personal Edition are referred to as:
Product: GoBack
Version: 3 Personal Edition for SystemWorks

On the Symantec support Web site, Norton GoBack 3.5 Personal Edition is referred to as:
Product: Norton GoBack
Version: 3.5 Personal Edition

On the Symantec support Web site, Norton GoBack 4.0 is referred to as:
Product: Norton GoBack
Version: 4.0

I start GoBack from its own GoBack icon (not Norton GoBack)

If you start GoBack from its own "GoBack" icon, you have a Roxio version of GoBack. You can find the version number by simply looking at the interface, as shown in this example:

GoBack 3.0 Deluxe
GoBack 3.1 Deluxe
GoBack 3.2 Deluxe
GoBack 3.2 Enterprise Edition

On the Symantec support Web site, all of these products are referred to as:
Product: GoBack
Version: 3 Deluxe
