How to disable GoBack 3.x
 |
Note |
- These instructions apply to both GoBack (produced by Roxio) and Norton GoBack (from Symantec). This document refers to all versions simply as "GoBack" unless differences need to be specified.
- In either case, disabling GoBack also clears the GoBack History and all restore SafePoints are lost.
- In the rare event that you cannot disable GoBack, there is a way to force its removal from the master boot record. This should only be used if GoBack cannot be disabled or uninstalled normally, as, once you do this, you will have to reinstall GoBack.
