Error 25037, 25039, or 25040 while uninstalling Norton GoBack 4.0

Because you must return to this page after you restart the computer, add this page to Favorites.

STEP 2
  Turn off AutoBack

In the Norton GoBack main window, click Options.

On the AutoBack tab, uncheck Enable AutoBack.

When a message informs you that turning AutoBack off now will cancel any scheduled revert time, click OK.

NOTE Note

 Turning off the AutoBack feature does not stop Norton GoBack from protecting your disk drive.

STEP 3
  Uninstall GoBack

Close all programs.

Click Start > Settings > Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.

In the list of programs, select your version of GoBack, for example GoBack Personal Edition, Go Back Deluxe, or Norton GoBack.

Click Add/Remove, Change/Remove, or Remove.

Follow the prompts to complete the uninstallation.
