Removing Norton Ghost 2003 after Add/Remove Programs does not work
Situation:
This document describes how to uninstall Norton Ghost 2003 if the usual uninstall routine from the Windows Add/Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel does not work. You need to know if there is another way to remove Ghost from the computer.
Solution:
When you cannot uninstall a Windows program by means of the Add/Remove Programs applet, removing the program requires deleting specific files and editing the Windows registry.
WARNING: We strongly recommend that you back up the Windows registry before making any changes to it. Incorrect changes to the registry can result in permanent data loss or corrupted files. Modify only the keys that are specified. See the document
How to back up the Windows registry for instructions.
