Troubleshooting steps for WinFax PRO 10.x

Situation:
This document provides steps for several troubleshooting procedures. Use this document when you have been referred to it by a Symantec Technical Support representative or by another Symantec knowledge base document.

Solution:
Perform only the procedures that were recommended to you by the Symantec Technical Support representative or by another Symantec knowledge base document. Do the procedures in the order that they were referred to you.

Rebuilding the message stores and phonebooks
WinFax includes a maintenance utility, rebuild.bat, that you can use to rebuild the message stores (log files) and phonebook files. To rebuild the WinFax log files and phonebooks, read How to rebuild or repair logs and phonebooks in WinFax PRO 10.
