How to remove the Print to WinFax and Mail Merge macros for Word 97 and Excel 97
Situation:
You want to know how to remove the Print to WinFax and Mail Merge macros from Word 97 and Excel 97.
Solution:
To remove the macros from Word 97:
- Launch Microsoft Word 97.
- Click Tools, point to Macro, and then click Macros. The Macros dialog box appears.
- Select DDEFaxMerge and click Remove.
- Select Print2WinFax and click Remove.
- Click OK and close Microsoft Word 97.
To remove macros from Excel 97:
- Launch Microsoft Excel 97.
- Click Tools, and then click Add-Ins.
- Uncheck WinFax macro for Excel 97.
- Click OK, and then close Microsoft Excel 97.
To remove the macro files from the computer:
- Click Start, point to Find, and click Files or Folders. The Find dialog box appears.
- From the Look In drop-down list, select the drive onto which you installed WinFax PRO/TalkWorks PRO.
- Check Include subfolders (if not already checked).
- In the Named field, type word97.doc and click Find Now. Windows displays all files matching the search criteria.
- Select the found file and then press Delete. The file is deleted.
- Click New search.
- In the Named field, type wfxxl97.xla and click Find Now. Windows displays all files matching the search criteria.
- Select the found file and then press Delete. The file is deleted.
- Close the Find window.
