Clicking the Preview button displays a Symantec credit screen

Situation:
When you click Preview on the WinFax PRO Send screen, a Symantec credit screen appears.

Solution:
To avoid seeing this Credit screen, make sure that the entire document is printed to WinFax PRO before clicking Preview.

  1. Print the document to WinFax PRO using the WinFax PRO printer driver.
  2. View the thumbnails in the WinFax PRO Send dialog box and verify that all the pages are visible.
  3. Click the WinFax PRO Preview button.

To prevent the Symantec credit screen from displaying:
  1. Download the file wfx0900.exe for Windows NT/2000 or wfx0900x.exe for Windows 9x/Me.
  2. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Symantec WinFax PRO, and then click Install Directory. The WinFax install folder is displayed.
  3. Copy the file you downloaded to the WinFax install folder.
  4. Right-click the wfx0900.exe or wfx0900x.exe file, and then click Properties.
  5. Select the Read-Only attribute, and then click OK.

NOTE: The wfx0900.exe and wfx0900x.exe files are not actual executable programs. The file is copied to the WinFax PRO install folder to prevent WinFax PRO from creating and executing the actual credit screen.
