How to integrate Microsoft Outlook 2000 with WinFax PRO 10

Situation:
You want to use the Outlook contacts folder in WinFax PRO 10 or view the Message Stores (or Logs) in Exchange/Outlook.

Solution:
Preconditions for Outlook

To switch to Corporate or Workgroup mode:
  1. In Outlook, click Tools.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Select the Mail Delivery tab, and then click Reconfigure Mail Support.
  4. On the E-mail Service Options page, select the mail support option that you want, and then click Next.
  5. Read the warning message, and then click Yes. Outlook will close.
  6. Restart Outlook. The Windows Installer will start and install the required files.

To view WinFax message stores (or logs) in Outlook:

  1. In Outlook, click Tools.
  2. Click Services. The Services dialog box appears.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Select WinFax PRO and click OK.
  5. Exit and restart Microsoft Outlook.

NOTES:
To view Outlook information in WinFax:
  1. In the Message Manager, click Tools.
  2. Click Program Setup.
  3. Select Email and Outlook Integration, and then click Properties.
  4. Check Enable Sending Faxes by Email.
  5. Select the Profile from the drop-down list and type the password (if required).
  6. Select "Enable Viewing of Exchange/Outlook Logs and Address Book" in Message Manager.
  7. Click Apply. The Email Properties Warning appears. Click OK.
  8. Click OK again and close Program Setup.
  9. Exit and restart the Controller.
