Question/Issue:
When you try to migrate a Symantec AntiVirus 10.x server to a new build, the installation fails. You see the error message "Internal error while attempting to log in to the server [servername]. Error code 0x80010203."
Solution:
This problem happens when the Symantec AntiVirus service is not started on the target server or on the primary server.
To fix the problem, start the Symantec AntiVirus service on the target server and on the primary server. If the service is already started, restart the service.
This problem can also happen when the primary server runs an earlier version of Symantec AntiVirus. Migrate the primary server before you migrate secondary servers.
