Navdx.exe usage and options

You want to know which options or switches can be used with the Symantec AntiVirus DOS scanner (Navdx.exe).


Solution:
Navdx.exe usage and options:

NAVDX [pathname] [options]

pathnameAny valid drive, directory, file, or combination of items.
/?Displays the help screen.
/A or /LScan all drives or local drives. Drives A and B are skipped.
/B[+|-]Enable or disable scanning of boot records.
/BOOTOnly scan the boot sectors of specified drives.
/M[+|-]Enable or disable scanning of memory.
/MEMOnly scan memory.
/HEUR[0|1|2|3]Set Bloodhound sensitivity. (0 disables)
/S[+|-]Enable or disable scanning subfolders.
/REPAIRRepair infected files automatically.
/DELETEDelete infected files automatically.
/PROMPTPrompt for repair or delete on each infected file.
/HALTHalt the system when a virus is found.
/CFG:[directory]Specifies the directory that contains Norton AntiVirus configuration files.
/LOG:fileCreate a log file.
/APPENDLOG:fileAppend to a log file.
/DOALLFILESScan all files, not just executables.
/ZIPSScan files in compressed files.
/NOBEEPDo not generate sounds.
/HELPERRORList all possible DOS error levels that NAVDX returns.
