Question/Issue:
You install Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 10.x or Symantec Client Security 3.x. You notice that the Symantec AntiVirus service stops or the system becomes unresponsive.
In the Windows Event Viewer - System log, you see the following entry:
Event ID: 2019
Description: The server was unable to allocate from the system paged pool because the pool was empty.
Symptoms:
Error: "The server was unable to allocate from the system paged pool because the pool was empty" on Windows 2003 Server You install Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 10.0 or Symantec Client Security 3.0. You notice that the Symantec AntiVirus service is stopped. In the Windows Event Viewer - System log, you see the following entry: Event ID: 2019 Description: The server was unable to allocate from the system paged pool because the pool was empty.
Solution:
