IM Clients Require SSL Authentication to Specified Domains

Symptoms:

Conditions
Some IM clients perform authentication to certain domains using services accessed via SSL. This SSL traffic is HTTP traffic. For the specified domains, it is required that the IM client have HTTP access via SSL either directly or through a web proxy.

Solution:
The following table lists the IM clients and the domain names to which the IM clients must be permitted HTTP access via SSL:
