What is a subscription? | ||
|
Many Symantec products protect your computer from threats, such as viruses, Trojan horses, malicious code, and privacy and intrusion threats. New threats are found daily. Symantec provides updates--on a subscription basis--so that our products can protect you from new threats. Having a current subscription to those updates helps keep your computer safe. Running LiveUpdate is the easiest way to get security updates. LiveUpdate checks to see if your subscription is current before getting any subscription based updates. When your subscription is almost expired, you will be reminded to renew it. |
