What is the Extended Download Service?

The Extended Download Service allows customers who buy software from the Symantec Store to download this software as many times as needed for one year from the date of purchase. After the one-year period expires, the Symantec Store recommends that you either renew your subscription or upgrade to the latest product version.

How the Extended Download Service works

• When you buy a new product or upgrade, you are given an option to buy the Extended Download Service.
• If you do not buy the Extended Download Service at the same time that you buy your product, you may buy the it after your 60-day download period expires.
• If you want to buy the Extended Download Service, the order must be placed within one year of your purchase of your new product or upgrade.
