Situation: How do I create an account in the License Portal?
Solution:
1. Navigate to the Licensing Portal at https://licensing.symantec.com.
- For easy future use, it is advisable to bookmark this site.
2. Login page will display.
a. Select “Create An Account”.
3. Complete all required fields denoted by an "*".
4. Submit and Agree to the Terms & Conditions.
5. You will receive a confirmation page for the creation of your License Portal Account.
6. Select the "Licensing Portal Home Page" button at the bottom of the screen.
Please note: This has created your account, this has not added nor registered your serial number for your product. You will need to proceed to License Management (Manage Licenses) to complete the registration process.
