"My Documents" folder opens slowly after CleanSweep installation

Situation:
You have installed Norton CleanSweep or Norton SystemWorks. When you access the "My Documents" folder, you notice that it takes several seconds to open. Other folders open very quickly.

Solution:
Symantec is aware of this problem. Currently, there is no known solution.

As a workaround, disable Csinject. For instructions, read the document How to disable Csinject.


Note: Disabling Csinject also disables the automatic monitoring functionality of Smart Sweep and Usage Watch. In addition, if Csinject is disabled, Smart Sweep will not track changes made to the Registry during an installation. Read the document Explaining Csinject, which explains the effects of disabling Csinject.
